The Programme
What is a Marillion Woodlot?
A Marillion Woodlot is a forestry partnership between you, the farmer, and Marillion. You provide land for 30 years under a renewable lease. We plant native indigenous species — Fever Tree, Albizia, Teak and others from our approved species list — at our cost. We manage, protect, and harvest them. We sell the resulting carbon credits, timber, and biochar. You receive 20% of net revenue, paid into your account, with first priority on paid maintenance and warden work on your own plot.

You retain full ownership of the land. Marillion only leases the right to plant and manage the trees on it.

You receive 20% of net revenue from every carbon credit, timber sale, and biochar batch produced on your land. Paid directly. Visible in your dashboard.

Eligibility
Who Can Register
The Marillion Woodlot programme is open to farmers across Zimbabwe who meet these criteria:
- You own land or hold a registrable interest (title deed, A2 lease with state consent, or other formal tenure that supports a 30-year lease)
- Your land is at least 1 hectare in size
- Your land has been non-forest for at least the last 10 years
- You are willing to grant Marillion a 30-year renewable lease over the woodlot area
- You have a national ID and a mobile money or bank account
